Susan (snapapple) > March 22 - This is a clematis flower. It grows on a small vine in my yard. We had a few occasions of sun today with lots of clouds and a thundershower in the late afternoon. I'm glad I got out early in the morning to take this shot.
Susan (snapapple) > Ranunculus - a tuberous-rooted plant with peony like blooms. I bought several plants at the nursery in yellow, red and purple. They remind me of tissue paper flowers. The bright yellow says "Spring" to me.
Susan (snapapple) > Clematis - It grows on a small vine in my yard. The morning sun was peeking through the branches of the trees to highlight this big blossom. I had to crawl under a bush to get up close.

Susan (snapapple) > November 12 - Paper Whites - Here is a little cheer for all of you experiencing rainy weather today. I was able to catch some sweet morning light and I especially like the way the strappy leaves and the curved stems surround and point to the flowers. This is aue natural at it's best.

Susan (snapapple) > This is a yellow and red rose. I converted the image to black and white and liked the way the red petal tips came out shaded. It throws some odd shadows into the black and white image.
