Susan (snapapple) > March 22 - This is a clematis flower. It grows on a small vine in my yard. We had a few occasions of sun today with lots of clouds and a thundershower in the late afternoon. I'm glad I got out early in the morning to take this shot.

Susan (snapapple) > St. Patrick's day is Saturday. This is my lucky shamrock plant. Many stores sell them at this time of year. There is really no such plant. Just a legend. This is actually Oxalis, a perennial that enjoys woodland conditions. It spreads and can be invasive, a weed unless you have a natural woodland garden. They do well in a pot in a sunny room.
