Susan (snapapple) > February 28, 2006 - California Towhee on a rainy day. Poor little fellow is fluffing his feathers to try to dry off. But he has been heading to the feeder in spite of the rain.

Susan (snapapple) > May 22 - I was getting tired of flowers so I looked around for something else to shoot. I took a shot of this birdhouse in my rose garden and added the bird from another image. The birdhouse is one that I hand painted and it has such a "drawing" look to it that I decided to give the whole thing a filter treatment. I added an ink outline and a layer of embossing. I think this would make a nice greeting card or could make a nice print for a childs room. Click on it for a larger view.
