Shipboard photos of our transatlantic cruise to Northern Europe on the Star Princess. We traveled to the Azores, England, France, Norway and the Netherlands (Holland).
The view from the deck as we begin our departure from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We look forward to relaxing for five days as we cross the Atlantic and head to Northern Europe and Scandinavia
Deck chairs around the pool - as you can see, the ship is not at all crowded. This is a repositioning cruise and right at the change of seasons. When it reaches the Baltic area this ship will begin it's summer cruises in the Baltic.
There is plenty of room for walking around the decks. This is the lifeboat deck.
Safety equipment on the lifeboat deck
Lifejacket lockers line the lifeboat deck a nice place for a quiet walk.
The view of the sea from the aft deck - we're looking right over one of the swimming pools.
Playing chess can occupy the time on those long sea days - there is plenty to do. Sunning in one of the quiet corners on deck, or on our own balcony, reading, listening to music, or attending a seminar.
Entrance to the disco. It is situated atop the highest deck with the only entrance being a long ramp from the deck below. During the day, when the disco is closed, it makes a nice quiet lounge for reading and enjoying the view.
