After a day at sea, day 8 of our cruise takes us to Naples, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii.

This ancient fortress is just in from the dock at the port of Naples.

Continuing along the narrow winding road (I am on the wrong side of the bus for good pictures) we pass this replica of the town built on the edge of the road.
I am impressed with the skill of the bus driver as he maneuvers the narrow road. Finaly we approach Amalfi, the coast's largest town.
