St. Patrick's day is Saturday. This is my lucky shamrock plant. Many stores sell them at this time of year. There is really no such plant. Just a legend. This is actually Oxalis, a perennial that enjoys woodland conditions. It spreads and can be invasive, a weed unless you have a natural woodland garden. They do well in a pot in a sunny room.
